The people have a right to know their own medical status, in order to seek the appropriate treatment for their particular illness.

The people do have a right to know the medical status of their own body, however, if they cannot be concerned enough to go get a check up themselves, why does it suddenly become the governments problem? speaking as a cancer patient, i know full well, that it really is not that difficult, to go and get a check-up. if you are concerned go get yourself tested, don't weigh it on the government, they have enough to deal with already.
