  • Athletes often concentrate more on money than there sport. When this occurs, athletes often perform poorly.


No

  • Money and pay is dependent on good performance. Athletes that become distracted by money perform more poorly and subsequently get paid less. Money only rewards good performance. Performance is dependent on a passion and love for the game. In this way, money and the spirit of sport are in alignment.

  • Money in sports often causes athletes to abandon their home countries. The players are released into a world of money and so they become greedy, sometimes leaving their own countries and going to foreign ones as they offer richer contracts than those in their home countries.

  • Athletes have the right to move abroad for profit. Players are usually hit by financial and personal problems where a sufficient amount of money cannot be supplied by their salaries provided in their own countries.
