Resolved: That Russia has become a threat to United States interests

Background and context

Has Russia become become a threat to United States interests?

Yes

Since 2001, when the US withdrew from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty, a treaty between the United States of America and the Soviet Union on the limitation of the anti-ballistic missile (ABM) systems used in defending areas against missile-delivered nuclear weapons, Russia once again began to hold a potential threat because they could be containing some harmful, possibly nuclear, weapons of mass destruction within their country because the treaty limiting arms has become null and void.

No

The United States of America was the country that withdrew themselves from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty, a treaty between the United States of America and the Soviet Union on the limitation of the anti-ballistic missile (ABM) systems used in defending areas against missile-delivered nuclear weapons. Therefore, the United States poses a greater threat to Russia than Russia does to the United States.
