[Edit] YesThe people have a right to know their own medical status, in order to seek the appropriate treatment for their particular illness. |
[Edit] NoThe people do have a right to know the medical status of their own body, however, if they cannot be concerned enough to go get a check up themselves, why does it suddenly become the governments problem? speaking as a cancer patient, i know full well, that it really is not that difficult, to go and get a check-up. if you are concerned go get yourself tested, don't weigh it on the government, they have enough to deal with already. |

[Edit] YesIf testing is made mandatory, HIV/AIDS awareness will increase, as a law enforcing testing is not going to pass quietly. also people who would now have been tested, and tested positive, can be more aware of their actions, and realize that unprotected sex, can infect others with the HIV virus |
