  • Humans' role as stewards entails a certain superiority. Humans are the only animals on Earth capable of acting as stewards of the environment, fostering other animals, saving some from extinction, and generally preserving an equilibrium. This ability to control, and to control with the overall interests of all animals in mind, makes humans more important and thus superior on Earth.
